Tiny Umbrella Wreath

Discovered at Family Chic.  Gotta, gotta, gotta  make this!

Paper cocktail parasols - available at party supply stores - are fun and festive. (Parasol Party Picks - 144 for $5.00)
Stick the parasols into a grapevine wreath and in minutes . . . a new spring look.
Or, a festive wreath for a summer party.
Or, a celebration of rain.
Or, a colorful wreath that expresses a yearning for rain.
You get the idea!

You do not even need to use glue - the parasols stay in place quite well on their own which makes this a great craft for kids too - no mess.

To cover the wreath completely, overlap the parasols by placing some in deeper than the others. This wreath is made using two different sizes for variation.

Details: about 40 umbrellas were used to make this wreath.
For a large package of parasols, check out Party City – you can get bag of 144 for $5.00.
